The title “assistant commissioner” is used by a variety of organizations to describe:
An individual who has been assigned a formal charge or power is an assistant commissioner.
a title used in police forces is assistant commissioner (police).
In revenue administrations, the title is assistant commissioner (administration).
Section Officer SO
A section officer is in charge of directing a section and may enforce rules over branches run by superintendents. His main support group will normally include a Stenographer, a Clerk, and an Assistant.
