Offering Post-Secondary Education Opportunities to Balochistan and Eastwhile FATA Students (PHASE-III)
Under the initiative “Provision of Higher Education Opportunities for the Students of Balochistan and FATA (Phase-II)”, Batch-II, HEC has announced the Undergraduate scholarship in all subjects.
Applications for scholarships for undergraduate study at HEC-recognized public and private sector universities and degree awarding institutions in Pakistan are invited from exceptional students holding a residence/local certificate from Balochistan and a former FATA.
IMPORTANT NOTE
- Scholarships will be awarded on a merit-based and district-based basis.
- Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of their aptitude test scores (conducted by HEC) and academic credentials.
- Applicants must secure at least 50% marks in the aptitude test.Â
- The scholarship and reserve seats distribution ratio
for the applicants of Balochistan and Erstwhile FATA is 50:50. - Placements on reserved seats will be on an open merit basis for the selected scholars only. PM&DC eligibility criteria, rules, and regulations will be applicable.
- Students already enrolled in medical and dental colleges and engineering programs will not be considered for the reserved seats but shall be considered for scholarships, if on merit.
- Students already enrolled in any bachelor’s program may also apply.

- All applicants must apply using their own CNIC / juvenile card issued by NADRA. Applications received with any other CNIC may lead to application rejection. If any applicant is under 18, he or she must apply using
NADRA-verified juvenile card - To participate in the test, all applicants must present their own CNIC or juvenile card in its original form. No alternative identification will be accepted

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Candidate’s age must be less than or equal to 22 years on closing date of advertisement for the Scholarship
Programme. - Candidate must have his / her own and father’s valid domicile or local certificate of Balochistan / erstwhile FATA duly signed by district administration.
- Candidates must have completed 12 years of education with at least 60% marks in FA/F.Sc./L.COM/ICS/ DAE and equivalent for scholarship programme.
- Candidates already availing any other HEC / Government scholarship are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates must have acquired the requisite academic qualifications on or before the closing date of the advertisement.
- Students awaiting result are not eligible to apply
How to Apply
- Applications and other documentation are not needed at this time in hard copy.
- A test charge of Rs. 500 must be deposited by ATMs, Internet banking, mobile banking, Easypaisa, JazzCash, Upaisa, and participating banks for 1Link 1Bill invoices.
- After choosing the 1Link 1 bill Invoice payment service, Select Bill payment or payment services (as your mobile banking app options) after logging in or opening your mobile app.
- After selecting the 1Bill Invoice payment service, enter the customer number that the application site created. Pay the payment after you’ve seen the details.
- On the application form, click “Verify Online Payment” after making the payment via 1 Link 1 Bill Invoice. The exam fee cannot be transferred or refunded.
- After filling out the online application form, the applicant needs to submit the application. Applications that are saved or incomplete won’t be taken into consideration at all.
- HEC has the right, at any time and for any cause, to halt or terminate the scholarship program.
